Telling A Story
I found this narrative/essay/paper from college when I was cleaning out some old word files. For my upper division writing requirement at USC I was able to get into a class called “Writing for the Visual and Performing Artist,” which this paper is from. this was my first art walk and boy was it a lot of fun. i so rarely go downtown, but it’s really the only time LA ever feels like a city. tall buildings, cabs galore, people cruisin’ the sidewalks…it was awesome. and we took the subway!
i only managed to get into 5 or 6 galleries and while i wasn’t particularly moved by any of the art,...
