i live in the best city in the world.
A person soliciting on the way to the subway (I don’t want to call him homeless he had better sneakers than me) saw me search in my wallet to look for extra change to get a metro card (I’ve been biking to work and haven’t needed one in a while) and he offered me a dollar.

History Made!
A little after 6 pm today, the Minnesota Senate approved the House bill passed Thursday, legalizing same sex marriage in Minnesota!
Governor Dayton, a vocal advocate of the bill, is sure to sign the bill later this week.
Making my home state the 12th to ensure Marriage Equality!
Listening to the Senate vote online, and the cheers echoing from the Senate Gallery, and crying with happiness for Progress. Thinking of my dear friends and so many others impacted with overwhelming joy.
