My Neuroses For Your Entertainment

I took Jim to see a Cirque du Soleil show last night for his birthday. It was two hours of Jim being one of the happiest people I’ve ever seen, with his arms wrapped tightly around me because I kept hiding my head in his shoulder and whispering “oh my god he’s going to die. He’s going to right in front of us.”

Today Jim is talking about how impressed he was with the costumes, sets, and acrobatics. I am still stunned that nobody died.

Here is a photo of us both looking happy before we went into the Kodak Theatre, a venue so intimate, we could hear the trapeze artist’s ankles rub against the trapeze as she hooked them over the bar and swung by them.
